JV and Varsity Girls Basketball is open to all 5th thru 8th Grade girls in good academic standing. Tryouts are held in late November. Varsity games start at 3:45 pm and JV games immediately follow.

Girls Varsity won their first game of the season against Newton 36-6. Mackenzie Kaiser led with 14 points, but all girls worked together to make this an exciting first game and victory, and show Newton what we are made of! Defense was on point, and so were our shots!
Girls JV won their first game of the season with an exciting competition against Newton. Down by one with a minute to go, Jordyn Young made the winning basket at the buzzer, making the final score 11-10. Sophia and Olivia May also worked together with the team to put up a basket each. All girls worked together to start the season off right!
Girls Varsity won an exciting game against Andover 31-4. The girls worked together to put in those baskets and defend our own. Julia Boyer took the lead with 7 points, and nine different girls scored in the game, showing Andover we cannot be beat!
Girls JV defeated Andover 22-4, making it another exciting win! Jordyn Young and Sophia May lit up the court with a total of 18 points between them, and all girls hustled and fought for every loose ball. Great job Green!

Girls Varsity defeated Ogdensburg 25-10 in an exciting game. The girls played awesome on offense and even better on defense, defending our side and denying almost every shot to the basket. Christine Ahmad and Mackenzie Kaiser led the team with six points each, but all the girls contributed in making those baskets and getting us a win!
Girls JV lost to Ogdensburg 14-11 in a tight game. The girls played hard and hustled to defend our basket. Jordyn Young, Sophia May, Catherine Vena and Kierstin Lee all scored, and the rest of the girls helped contribute to our tight game.
Girls Varsity played a close, exciting game against Byram. Julia Boyer led the team with 11 points, and Ally Neill, Christine Ahmad, Mackenzie Kaiser, Kierstin Lee and Natalie Fung added to the score of 27. Although we lost 27-37, the girls played awesome defense and held it down!
Girls JV was defeated 9-16. Sophia May, Jordyn Young, and Catherine Vena had a combined 9 points, and all the girls played their hearts out to defend our basket. Awesome effort made by all!
Girls Varsity played theeir best game yet, defeating Andover 46-8. Christine Ahmad and Natalie Fung led the team with 8 points each, and every other girl contributed to the score. We worked together as a team, defended our own, and got ourselves an awesome win!
Girls JV defeated Andover as well, 20-0. This was hands down our best game yet, with every single girl on the team playing amazing defense and showing Andover what we're made of!
Girls Varsity defeated Newton in an exciting game, 31-17. Christine Ahmad led the team with 8 points, and Kierstin Lee and Natalie Fung trailed close behind with 6 points each. The girls played great defense, and made some amazing plays to show we know how to work as a team!
Girls JV lost to Newton 7-11 in a great game. Sophia May scored 5 points, and Kierstin Lee put in a basket for 2 points. Although our defense was good, Newton took home the win.
Girls Varsity lost to North Warren 23-54.
Girls JV lost to North Warren 12-36.
Girls Varsity lost to Byram 27-28 in the best game of the season. Kierstin Lee took the lead with 8 points, and Christine Ahmad led close behind with 6 points. Natalie Fox and Natalie Fung had 4 points each, Mackenzie Kaiser had 2, and Julia Boyer hit them with a 3 pointer. Unfortunately, despite the girls playing their absolute hearts out until the very final buzzer, we fell short by one point.
Girls JV lost to Byram 5-26. Geraldine Collison had 2 baskets, and Jordyn Young added a point from her foul shot. Despite the loss, the girls tried their best and worked together as a team on both defense and offense.
