Dr. Jennifer Cenatiempo

Dr. Cenatiempo joined the Green Township School District in August of 2021. As a career educator with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Cenatiempo has had the wonderful opportunity of teaching in the Wyckoff School District, the Westwood Regional School District, and the Ogdensburg School District. For the past ten years, Dr. Cenatiempo had the tremendous opportunity to serve the Sparta Township School District, the West Milford School District, the Woodland Park School District, and the Lafayette Township School District as language arts specialist, building principal, and district superintendent respectively.

A graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School, Dr. Cenatiempo attended the Pennsylvania State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Kindergarten Education. Dr. Cenatiempo earned a Master of Science in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. Dr. Cenatiempo earned a second Master of Education in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University. Finally, Dr. Cenatiempo completed her doctorate in Administrative Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Walden University.

Dr. Cenatiempo brings excitement and energy to the role of district superintendent. Her commitment to working in collaboration with all stakeholders has facilitated a much needed return to normalcy in the district. Dr. Cenatiempo is passionate about creating a safe and supportive school environment for all students and staff. It is through this lens that Dr. Cenatiempo works to empower every student to reach their greatest potential!
